"M" (patient of our office),
Description:
I manage a pain management practice and unfortunately I often have to give patients the unhappy news---that they owe us money. A patient posted this review, including my name on yahoo locals. They posted as user "M." Of course, I know who this person is, but their email address is not shown on the posting. I have complained to yahoo on 2 different occasions and have only gotten a canned response saying they would research it. I can not get a person on the phone at yahoo and I want to have this listing removed. It's slanderous.

You have every right to complain first to the doctor's plan, and next to the State in which you live. The State will investigate this doctor and you can be anonymous. Second yes get a another opinion and explain what went on, that way the new doctor can guide you through getting compensation. Never and I mean never stay with a doctor you don't like, or vibe with cause you can get hurt.
If your medical treatment has resulted in making your condition worse, as you mentioned you are now limping, getting a second opinion from a different doctor would be a wise approach.
I suggest you don't say anything bad to the second doctor, but do tell them that the limping started after the procedure.
Since it seems likely that this might be related to a procedure on back, for that second opinion you'll probably want to find a doctor with a specialization in spinal injuries.
