It was the summer of 2007 or 2008. I was on a bus excursion, making a transfer between buses at the Union City Bart Station. I went to ask the station agent if I could use their restroom. She wasn't there, and no other Bart employee was, so I go. When I come back out, a Bart Police officer immediately stops me. He starts yelling at me about sneaking into the system, evading fare payment. Well, it was Wednesday, April 8th, 2009, when the 72 came four minutes late. The bus briefly stopped just before the stop, for a then-unknown reason. When the doors opened, the driver asked who was caring for the young boys (my nephews); I thought that he thought that they were alone. So, when I claimed that the boys were with me, the driver suddenly said something like, "Well you need to take better care of them!" in a very rude voice.

I began driving for the accused at 6-7-10. From the start he was totally clueless about the rules and displayed a complete inability to understand how the industry works.
