How to Tell if He's Cheating

Some say it's not a matter of "if" a man will cheat, it's "when."  Sounds kind of pessimistic and anti-man, don't you think?  Maybe so.  But alas, that doesn't mean that the all-knowing, all-seeing, ubiquitous "THEY" are wrong.

So in the spirit of choosing safe over sorry, here are 5 things to look for if you suspect your man is cheating (from the relationship gurus at Cosmopolitan, so you know it's good):

1. He's overprotective of his gadgets.  This includes anything from cellphones to laptops.
2. He steps up his grooming habits. Everywhere.  This is pretty self explanatory.
3. He smells different.  Notice a new soap smell that you know didn't come from the usual places like home or his gym?  The nose knows.
4. Nothing fazes him anymore.  If he used to be short-tempered and uptight, and is suddenly nonchalant - almost giddy - all the time, there could be a perfectly normal reason for this.  Or, he could be cheating on you.
5. He becomes suspicious of you.  People will sometimes accuse others of things that they are guilty of doing themselves.  Assuming you haven't done anything to warrant this sudden mistrust, this is a warning sign worth checking out.
