Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I use iAccuse.com?

iAccuse.com is a fast and free platform anyone can use to get their complaint noticed.

How does it work?

Just tell your story.  You can also upload videos, pictures and documents - whatever you need to make your Accusation!

What happens after I make my Accusation?

An email is automatically sent to the Accused to notify him of your Accusation and encourage him to respond.

How does iAccuse.com obtain the Accused's email address?

From you!  It's an optional (and highly recommended) part of the Accusation process.

What if the Accused does not respond?

iAccuse.com automatically publishes your Accusation on the front pages of major search engines and in social media.  Over time, this can increase the likelihood of a response.  Meanwhile, use our web site to share your story, vote or comment on other Accusations and exchange information with other Site Users.

Will the Accused be treated fairly?

That is up to the Site Users.  iAccuse™ makes no promises that its Site Users will fairly weight the evidence or offer productive, honest debate. Rest assured that everyone has an equal opportunity.

Can I log on or register a User Account through my existing Facebook account?

Yes.  Click the Facebook icon at the top of the page to log on using Facebook Connect.

Can I edit my Accusation once it has been uploaded to iAccuse.com?

Yes, you may edit or delete your Accusation at any time.

Which video formats are acceptable?

You may upload videos in the following formats: .MOV, .AVI, .MP4, .MPA, .MPC, .MPG, .MPEG, .QT and .WMV.

What other types of files are acceptable?

The following file formats are accepted: .PNG, .GIF, .JPG and .JPEG.

Is there a way to communicate privately with another iAccuse.com Site User?

Yes.  Registered Site Users can exchange private messages with each other. Locate a person's username through the iAccuse.com messaging feature.

Why should I register an account?

As a registered User, you have the ability to post your Accusation, vote and rate other Accusations, and message other Site Users.

Can I report the actions of other Site Users that I find offensive or abusive?

Registered Users can flag offensive material using the "Report Accusation" feature located on the Main Page of each Accusation.

What if I encounter other problems while navigating iAccuse.com?

Use the "Report Site Problems" button located in the footer on each page.  An email will be sent to the Site Administrator.

If I offer services that I think may assist an Accuser or Accused in handling a complaint, am I permitted to solicit business?

Advertising is only permitted in specifically designated and clearly marked sections.

Will iAccuse.com help me prove my case?

No.  iAccuse.com is not responsible for helping people resolve their Accusations, but is a tool that anyone can use to try to help themselves.

I've been Accused on your website, what should I do?

Tell your side of the story!  The process is the same for you as it is for the Accuser.

The Accusation is false. What can I do to get you to take it down?

iAccuse.com will not remove any user-generated content unless it violates the Terms of Use.

Does iAccuse.com make any independent investigation into the truthfulness of an Accusation?

No.  iAccuse.com relies on its Site Users to exercise reason and common sense in evaluating all user-generated site content.

What can I do if I have a suggestion or can't find an answer to my question?

If you still have questions or would like to make a suggestion, email the Site Administrator at info@iAccuse.com.
