I rented a house from lynn properties on 8/11/10 gave them over 800 dollars for rent and deposits on. 8/12/10 my electric got turned on I noticed that the ac was not cooling the house properly! I have a. 4 year old who stays at home with me and I called lynn properties to fix my ac we live in texas which our tempatures during the summer are crazy and HOT the ac was reading 90 in the house!! For three days in a roll I called and called to have my ac fixed they refused had water leak in bathroom mold is now growing my floor is about to fall in! We have noticed bare wires behind walls and non working. Fire alarms!! I have made a list of 14 things that need to be fixed and they refuse to do anything! I paid for a 3 bedroom 2 bath home! I don't have that do to the ac not working we are living in the living room with my daughter we don't have 3br/2b we have a kitchen and living room and to take a shower is like taking a shower in the sun and is so hot that we take cold showers to try and cool off! We have had reports from our new neighbors that if you complain to much that lynn properties have been known to mess with things in your home to get you to move such as mess up an ac turning off things causing problems so people will break their lease so they can keep your deposit and move on the the next victim!! Please don't rent from these people I'm in the process of taking legal action to either get stuff fixed or get my money back and get out of my lease!! Don't let yourself get scammed out of your money for a home that will never be safe or fit for you or your family!!

I just came home after spending the whole day at the VA with my husband in the ER its almost midnight. And there is a note on the door that says we are in default on our lease and we must vacate the premises within three days because we are three days late on rent. Rent is due on the 3rd late by the 5th according to the lease. TODAY IS THE 6TH. The only reason this was not paid today was because we had been at the hospital all day and we did not receive our money till Saturday. Banks are closed on Sunday so is their office. We have never paid later the 5th but we could not do this today and we should have found some way to get here to do so. I can not find my copy of my lease, was wondering if anyone else had been threw this?! I'm pretty upset.
Don't fix nothing rite if parts need to b replaced they just put tape n glue on everything told the land lord nothing still hasn't happened plumbing is a BIG PROBLEM NTHIS IS NOT SANITARY AT ALL
I want to add to this....I rented from Lynn properties starting July 2011....I paid them $350.00 for deposit and paid a full months rent August 1st of $650.00, for September rent they prorated and I paid $400.00, End of September I called and spoke to Kathy and advised her that my rent would be late just due to having to get my power on and water and other bills paid....they told me it was fine as long as I paid the $5.00 a day late fee. As of October 5th I recieved an eviction notice delivered by a constable telling me I had to go to court, plus paying the court fees, altogether equaled $956.00. Ispoke to Missy (the manager) about this situation and advised if they were going to do this to me why did they have late fees that could be paid, I also advised her that my AC was not working at that time. As of today November 29, 2011 nothing has been done about that....there are and have been numerous bare wires, a loose toilet, the house is coming apart in the middle where it was put together. Now, I was told I was supposed to send my water payment to them and they pay it....They have now lost my check and my water has been turned off.....is there not something we can do about these people?????
