I purchased a vehicle from this dealer on 8/26/10, the car made it 3 miles down the road before it broke down. After being stuck on the side of the road for 2 hours I was able to limp the car back to the dealer where he refused to do anything. The Tampa police were called but they could not do anything as it was sold as-is even though the odometer has been rolled back. I paid the dealer $279 for title, and tag fees. I received a temp. tag. One month later they had not filed for the tag or the title change so they gave me another temp tag. That second tag expires 10/24/10 and they still have not done tag or title work. I have filed a written complaint with the DMV/Tax collector but I can not do the tag and title work myself even if I pay the fees again per the DMV. I am unsure as to what to do at this point. I have made numerous trips as well as phone calls to the dealer to try to get resolution but I am getting no where. My vehicle will not be street legal come 10/24/10 and I have paid the state required fees to make sure my vehicle is drivable but the dealer has pocketed that money.
