Josh owes me $600 for the car he "purchased" from me.
I was living in Kauai and owned a '94 Honda Accord I purchased from a friend for $1000. I was leaving in August and Joshua said he would like to buy the car from me. I agreed to sell him the car as a friend. He said he would pay me the money when he sold his scooter. He sold his scooter and proceeded to drag out saying he would pay me for the next couple months and then he just stopped contact. No payment was ever sent to me nor recieved by me for the car. It is an unfortunate situation because we were friends and is why I allowed him room to be flexible in his payment to me yet he seemed to take full advantage of the situation. I would appreciate some honesty so we can work this out.I don't owe him a car, nobody does.I don't appreciate a seeming attitude of entitlement either. I feel he owes it to himself to make good with this. I owe it to myself as I've had one too many people take advantage of me like this.I am still open and flexible to how and when he pays as I heard he didn't have work.I am not working either and can't find work and am struggling. I would appreciate if he would set up an agreement with me that it will be paid soon, even if he needs to borrow the money he owes me from his family or friends.
The purchase price was $600.He agreed to that.
It seemed like it was important to pay me and I trusted him. I would like to feel he is trustworthy.
