After allowing Joe Hickman to have weeks to attempt to make things right, I have decided to share my story on iAccuse.com. Aparently Joe wants to continue to lie cheat and steal.

Joe Hickman and I agreed to a business arrangement to build websites for my local Dallas search engine marketing firm. Joe praised his experience at Atomic Design in Plano as well as his freelance resume building sites for Hatebreed.com, Guy Mezger with the UFC, Boys and Girls Club of Collin County, BigOilStocks.com, and many others. I began cutting him checks as well as cash deposits. Shortly after working with Joe he would share his peronal drama such as getting in car accidents, girlfriend kicking him out and needing money to keep a roof over his head.

After missing many deadlines, including 6 days of no live site for one of my VIP clients, I gave Joe a second chance. Again all he could provide was an uncoded design concepts. I actually got a few concepts from Joe.... so he kept getting deposits. After dropping over $4k in the Joe Hickman money pit, I was forced to take control of the situation....

Or so I thought!

One evening I asked Joe to meet me and follow me home. He had just been thrown out by one of his girlfriends (sugar mommas.) Joe was supposed to have met me earlier in the day. He often failed to answer or respond to emails, what do you expect from a crook? Phone calls would go unanswered. I began feeling the heat from my clients. So I allowed him to stay the night on my sofa, then get up bright and early to finish up the sites that he said were 70-90% finished. We only had 4 of them to do. Just a "couple days work" right Joe?

Well, I was woken up by my Wife. My home smelled horrible. My Wife assumed Joe was passing gas on the couch. She took the kids to school. I woke him up. He had shit himself all over my couch.

Joe stated that he took 4 Xanex (quadbars) and 15 pain pills during the night. (I later saw the "medicine baggie" full of these drugs that I had been unknowingly paying for.) Joe was messed up. He had poop all over him. He appeared to have an asthma attack. I didn't know what was wrong until I told him I would call the ambulance. I tried to give him a bath. He smeared poop on my daugters bed, tried to steal the title to my Wife's car (which I discovered in his glovebox while looking for his inhaler) and commited theft of service. After threatening to call the police, Joe left my home.... in shambles. I uncovered how deep this drug addiction and scam went. He was only 20% done on my clients work. He ransacked my medicine cabinet. Rifled through my home. And attempted to put me out of business.

Joe has no idea how much damage he has caused to those that were kind and willing to befriend and help him. He maybe a talented developer, but he is a terrible liar, thief, and con artist. Joe has made no attempts to contact me. I am in the hole over $10k (having to pay someone again to do the work I paid him for.)

Joe only cares about himself, his drug addictions, and impressing women with lies.

Joe, I am going to extend the deadline to repair this, otherwise I will be filing charges with the police department. You have my phone number. I don't care about your problems. No more excuses. I revoke my gratuity. I regret offering you my friendship and assistance. As far as I am concerned, Joe, you are scum!
