I was rear-ended by Mike Hammond
On March 3, 2010, I was rear-ended by Mike Hammond, of Faith Construction. He gave me an insurance policy that had lapsed. I went through all the insuanse claim, and estimate proccess with his insurance company, only to find out a week later that he didn't have insurance! My car had so much damaged it was deemed a total wreck. Because of his irrisponsability I had to buy a new car. Not some thing I had bugeted for! I told Mr. Hammond that I wanted him to pay my insurance deductable, he agreed, but when it came down to it, of course, he didn't answer or return my calls! I thought I was being more than fair only wanting my deductible back. I was out much more money than just that! I want people to know that he is not a stsnd up guy. Ironic that his company is called "Faith" Comstruction.

If he knew that his insurance wasn't valid when he gave you the information about it, then he committed insurance fraud which is illegal.
You should talk to a lawyer to find out if you have a good case for small claims court. Be sure to ask about Punitive Damages as well, because they might also apply in your case.
