First of all, I am thankful of my wife for finding this site for me to tell my side of a man going through the child support machine and the alienation of his children by the ex-spouse.

Every one has a story to tell, whether it is good or bad. Sometimes it can be pure embarrassing but we can just take a hard swallow and move on.
I am a high school teacher who was transplanted from Michigan where teacher salaries were $50k and above; however, I wanted to move the wife and kids to Virginia to give them a life from Michigan and hopefully have the family united. But my ex wanted to stay behind because of her mother and her statement: "Who is going to care for my mother"? My story begins in June 2002, when my ex-spouse was granted a divorce in Pontiac, Michigan (Oakland County) and part of the divorce was child support to be paid to Darlena Saunders at 700.00 per month (see Divorce Judgment 1).

From June 21, 2002 to October 2002. Darlena Saunders was getting her child support checks on time and within the reasonable time allotted, also from the next pictures posted to this web site, you will not only see that the checks were made out, but also signed by Darlena Saunders (see checks 1 through 5). On October 23, 2002 at 4:30 PM; a telephone deposition was done between my ex-spouse and myself because the Oakland County Friend of The Court felt there were some irregularities in the way the child custody was being handled and I thought the Oakland County Friend of the Court was going to be impartial, as we go on through the accusations, you the reader will make the judgment.As we finished up the deposition I was notified that I would have an instant arrears for the said months of July, August, September, October, and November; because Darlena Saunders would have to inform the Friend of The Court that payments were directly made to her according to Tracy Carter (Support Specialist)of the Oakland County Friend of the Court. I asked the support specialist why and Carter stated, "That she would have to notify the court of the payments and not me", I asked her that I had signed checks and her response was, "No, Darlena would have to make that report". So you know what happened, she did not report the checks with her signature on them. However, if you read the document #1 it states in the first paragraph line #7, "The defendant shall receive a credit for his child support for direct payments paid to the plaintiff from the date of judgment". The next sentence states that "The plaintiff shall provide the amount to be credited once this order is entered and payments is commenced through the friend of the court office"; and this is rubber stamped by the presiding judge The Honorable Arthur Moore and his referee Vincent Welicka. So now not only I am paying child support but also I am paying arrears too.
In March 2003, while I was working at Lake Taylor Middle School (Norfolk, VA) I had received a call on my telephone from Auburn Village Apartments in Pontiac Michigan and the call was from the Rental Manager (Patricia). Patricia asked me to sit down because she was about to be the bearer of bad news. Patricia began to speak and my world came crashing down, she told me that my kids were involved in an apartment fire and their apartment was totally destroyed and the kids were displaced. Patricia also stated that the kids were alone at home and my son Desmond started the fire. As I was hysterical, I began to call telephone number s and no one would tell me what was going on. But it was disclosed later on that my ex spouse had to leave the apartment and head over to Pontiac Northern High School to pick our daughter Raquel from school, because she was suspended for disrespecting the staff at the high school and when my ex-spouse left the kids alone, she had a candle on the window sill with the window open and a breeze flowing through, so you know what happened next. The curtains caught fire and the fire spread through the apartment and the apartment was destroyed. But the question that I have and would like to be answered, “Why would you blame a child for your own negligence?” (More to come)
