I had a 6 year relationship with my daughters father who is now 4 He has not seen her or talked to her in 2 years He decided that drugs stealing and his new girlfriend were more important than his daughter.I had a medical issue and her and I both were on medicaid for a little over a year I protected him and said that he paid me child support outside of courts, then when he decided that she was no longer important enough to see or call i let the state of SC take him to court for child support. Well that was December of 2008 they set a default order because he didnt show up to the mediation hearing, now I am unemployeed and have a very little income coming in and because they couldnt find him to serve him child support papers they closed my case. I tried for almost 6 months after he got $7000 behind to get them to help me locate him so that he could be served with no avail the only thing i got from SC was a headache and papers that kept asking me for his address. South Carolina really eneds to step up their child support enforcement and locate these DEADBEAT FATHERS.
