Holiday Inn Express EL PASO-CENTRAL
Description:

after a long day of cross country driving me and my friend stopped at the Holiday Inn Express EL PASO-CENTRAL, we wanted a room so we could get some sleep. all was going well in the check in process until the clerk found out that we were nineteen. we were quickly told we were not old enough to rent a hotel room. disgruntled and disheartened we left discussing our ability to model nude, fight for the right for america to exist, vote and shape the countries politics, and be turned down at a hotel. after being so mistreated we decided that we would not go back to holiday inns.

No doubt, Cooper. I've been through the exact same thing, with some things different. Like bars, age requirement notices are to be displayed, effectively eliminating the "brick wall" effect. If you haven't, try complaining to Choice Hotels (and get the CEO to be on "Undercover Boss" again!), and see what happens then. Look at my travel accusation, "Discrimination on a Famous Bus Trip," and you'll see many similarities to your accusation.

I defend your right to model nude - if you're a babe and have nice tits.

Actually, Jorge shouldn't be allowed to have children. He would obviously be a terrible parent.

Hearing this I'll never stay at one. Thanks for the info. I thought Age discrimination was against the law.

It is ... if you're over a certain age.

it may or not be texas law but many other hotels and sometimes holiday inns have let me rent rooms

If you are old enough to vote, or be in the Military, not to mention reached the age of consent and can enter into contracts, then you should be able to rent a room to sleep in. It may not be the hotels fault, but someone needs to get their head out of their ass, TEXAS, and treat adults as adults!!

That's not a bad point, Ed!

TX state law requires one person to be of legal drinking age. Not their fault.
