Scott Trattner came to my house located in Lee's Summit, Missouri one evening because he was interested in renting our home for one year. We were putting our $400,000.00 home up for rent because my husband's company needed him to relocate to Denver Colorado for one year. Scott Trattner arrived to my home driving a sports car and dressed in a suit. He said he was the owner of the business "THE MAIN EVENT GROUP" which advertises for automobile dealerships. He said he owned a house in the Caribbean and 4 other homes across the country. He said the house was perfect and he couldn't wait to sign the contract. The rent was $2,500.00 a month as well as a $2,500.00 deposit. He wrote me a check for $5,000.00 and was to move in on Sept 1st 2009. When we got to Denver CO, we found out that the check had bounced that Scott Trattner had written us. When we called Scott, he said to talk to his "comptroller" Toney Goucher to get it taken care of. We talked to Toney who knew NOTHING about being a comptroller. He was an obese man in his mid 60's who used to own a B-B-Q restaurant named Fat Toney's Bar-B-Que 1627 South Ninth Street in St. Louis. But it got some horrible reviews because the Brisket had NO taste and the chicken tasted like cardboard so dry you couldn't chew it. The French Fries were soggy and the potato salad was store bought from Wal-Mart. So it went bankrupt shortly after he opened it. Both of these guys are losers. They stopped answering their phone when we called about the bounced check so we made the 12 hour drive from Denver to Lee's Summit to ask them to get out of our house for NON payment. When we arrived we found that they had let a dog run thru the house and use the carpet in every room as a toilet. They placed furniture and objects over the huge stains like I wouldn't see it. The house reeked of stench. The bathrooms were so nasty I felt dirty just walking in them. It was disgusting to see how they had ruined my home. They never paid their bills. There were disconnect notices for the electric, water, and phone/cable services. Even the lawn guy stopped by the house and said that Toney Goucher had told him he was the owner and had just "Bought" the house and wanted yard service. He said that Toney kept saying he was going to pay the bill but never did. I asked them to leave my house and they said they wouldn't leave until a judge told them to. It took me 4 months to get them out of my house. Even after Scott Trattner's son "BRANDON" made YouTube videos showing how him and one of his low life friends were destroying some of our belongings that we left in the garage in storage until we got back. It was disgusting to see how these people had NO REGARD what so ever for anyone's property. He wrote me another check for $7,000.00 and again it bounced. We finally took him to court and won the judgement. He hasn't paid us a dime and there is a felony fraudulent check charge out on Scott Trattner as I write this. He keeps using other people's names and SSN numbers to go from town to town and scamming people over and over. I found out that after he was finally evicted from MY house he moved into another home in Lakewood, MO (right outside of Lee's Summit) and he did the exact same thing to them. He said he was going to buy this house and gave the owner's a bad check. It took them 3 months to get him out of their home and it was also in terrible condition when they left. Something needs to be done with the Missouri homes laws..they protect the criminals instead of the victims. We ended up losing our home to foreclosure because we had to pay for rent at the place we were staying while this guy was freeloading in our home and not paying any money. In other states, it only takes as little as 5 days for the police to show up and evict someone due to non payment and destroying personal property. MISSOURI is so backward and is totally a stupid state to live in. Lee's Summit has to be the most worthless city to live in also, because the government is not there for the people, they are there for themselves. Lee's Summit has never helped us out legally when we needed it. We always had to basically take care of ourselves even when we had cold hard proof of a crime being committed. Scott Trattner's son is a teenager, yet he was never enrolled in school. He travels around from city to city with his father and keeps breaking the law everywhere he goes. He made a video of himself smoking marijuana and cigarettes while drinking alcohol. The whole time "spitting" on the floor of my home. These are disgusting people and you need to watch out.. They will lie and lie and they don't know how to tell the truth. Scott was born in October 1959 and is originally from New York. He's 5 Ft 7 inches, and is 51 yrs. old. He's also Jewish and balding. He's living in Weston Florida right now (but will soon be moving). He frequents the states of South Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, Texas, and Florida. Watch out for these people.. THEY ARE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH. IN Florida an upscale apartment complex sued him because of the same type thing. Apartment complexes will not rent to him anymore so he preys upon personal rentals on CraigsList. BEWARE of this man and anyone associated with him.
