I would like anyone and everyone's opinion on my situtation, I need your help. Is it wrong for the mother of my son's child to allow him to call any guy that she's dating, "da da"? The baby mama has also told another guy that he is the father of the baby, but continues to tell my son that he is the father. My son is so confused, he's only 16 and being a teen father is already hard enough without all this extra drama. We have tried to get help with a DNA test through the state, with no response, and I don't have the money for a lawyer or a DNA service to perform the test. My son originally signed the birth certificate, but when we found out that she told another guy that he was the father we took my son's name off the birth certificate and filed papers to get a DNA test done, but that ended up being a dead end. If anyone has any advice to help me get some answers, please let me know. Thank you. Sincerely, a worried grandmother.

It is very sad how a beautiful thing like being pregnant and have children, has been turn into a Jerry Springer show finale. Why do we blame and choose sides when it comes to teenager pregnancy or just unwed mothers? I would like for the youthful mother, I'm speaking about the grandmother to read this and really listen. You still have a whole lot of maturing to do as a parent yourself. Here's the advice that you seek, be the remodel, be the mentor, and help influence a young lady to become more than you have become. This may go against all of your standards, and morals, but please love someone like you would love yourself or your son.
P.S. Show your son that he can rise above his situation a become a great MAN. You be a graceful WOMAN of inspiration.
First FUCK all the people that are talking badly about your situation, everyone has the right to come on this website to vent and recieve knowledgeable advice. You can teach/lecture your son or daughter about all the precautions, but in reality when it comes down to it, it is honestly up to them, they make their own decisions/consequences. I personally would take this to small claims court, you do not need a lawyer(you defend your own case). If you win the case, the opposing party would pay the claim. There are laws that say you can not deny a DNA test, and if they deny it you DO NOT TAKE CARE of the child I'm sorry everyone is putting the blame on your grandson, but it takes two people to make a baby; why isnt anyone talking about the GIRL who is saying TWO if not more boys are the father. Sorry I have never been in your situation, and this is the best advice I can give you. Please dont forget NO ONE IS PERFECT AND WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES. Keep me posted

Thank you for the support, now she wants to move into our house because her family is supposedly "deliberately" making her crazy. I asked my son and he does not want her to move in and neither do I. It's too much drama for this house and we have 2 other children to worry about, I'll be more than happy to take in my grandababy but, sorry, I just can't accept her to move in after all she's put us through. I am in the process of filing a court order to get a DNA test done, if she refuses then I'll have to see what my son wants to do. If I call anyone to help it would be the Steve Wilkos Show.

i think the child should really no who the father truly is.. i mean yeah it's not right to father a baby at the age of 16 but hey everyone has made mistakes in there life!! and also if she doesn't agree with the DNA test i think you should have it court ordered not trying to pry in anyone's business but i grew up with out a "true" father and after 18 years of my life he is finally coming around and it is so hard i no it was my mothers fault but i think EVERYONE should no who there true mother or father is! and any one who doesn't agree should feel the way it felt for my brothers sisters and i to grow up with out one calling any and everyone daddy YES I THINK YOUR SON AND HIS CHILD SHOULD HAVE TIME WITH EACH OTHER

Maybe you should have taught your son to use protection or keep it in his pants. If he is truly in this situation of having a 16 year old girl pregnant. Then you need to go to a local court and take care of this. not talk trash online about a teen parent who possibly got knocked up by your son. How dare you act like she is some hussy running around trying to trap ur teenage son. She is a freakin child!!!!!! Grow the fuck up and teach your children to not have sex unprepared. Instead of blogging on a cheap web site!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!
